    Description

York Furnace Filter SupportGenuine OEM Part # S1-02628040000 | RC Item #2337907. Shipped with USPS First Class.
    Used.   Tested.   Works
This is a used filter support bracket recovered from York furnace model P4HUB12N08001A.  Some light surface rust is present but the bracket is in overall good structural condition and fully functional.   I included some example pictures where you can see it being used to hold a 16"x25"x1" filter in place.
This bracket is meant to be installed just inside the furnace from where the filter would rest against the furnace wall on the return side.    Appropriate York model furnaces which are made to use this bracket have two prefab notches / holes in the backside of the furnace (this is on both right AND left side - depending on which side your return comes in).   The two ends of the bracket slip into the notches/holes to hold it in place on the backside of the furnace, whereas the spring action of the arched front side of the bracket is slipped behind the front nook of the furnace corner.
To help illustrate an example of how this bracket looks and functions in its normal environment, i have included several pictures at the end of the listing to show it being used in an actual installation.  The example is one where the furnace has its return duct plumbed into the right side of the blower housing, but an installation of this bracket for furnaces with a left side return duct would be a mirror image of what you see in the illustrations.
This would be something you would buy if you're original bracket is missing or rusted out.  A missing filter bracket causes the filter to be pulled into the blower housing both negating the filter and often times damaging it in the process.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  I am happy to help you.
    Thanks!
