    1/8" cold rolled pickled 11G steel. Low carbon, no scaling, ready to weld in.

    Yamaha Blaster frames were poorly designed. They often crack in a few common spots just from regular riding. And are even more prone to this damage once a heavier rider, harder riding, extended, widened, modded. These gussets were designed, tested, redesigned, and retested to get the best locations addressed. Wether its a full resto down to the frame or a quick sander disk, weld in, rattle can over job.... gussets should be added.
    Another issue Blasters have is the open rear tube subframe. The oem rubber plugs often fall out and water can get into the tubes causing them to rot from the inside out. We also offer weld-in steel frame plugs and aluminum billet silicone-in frame plugs in 3 styles in our other listings to eliminate these issues aswell.
