Unique Folded Corner Hobnail Depression Glass Dish Octagonal Aqua Blue ~8x8"

Description

Unique aqua blue octagonal hobnail depression glass dish or shallow bowl.
At each corner the hobnails are on top of the dish.  This creates the illusion that the corners have been folded over.
In the center portion, between each of the hobnails are pyramid shapes.    Hobnails along the sides create a scalloped edge.  Unmarked.
Interesting old piece in nice vintage condition.  There are some tiny air bubbles and other manufacturing imperfections that you typically find in depression glass.  There are also a few scratches from use on the inside bottom and a couple chips along the edges (see photos).  They are quite shallow chips that aren't easy to see.
Measures approx 7 7/8" x  7 7/8" and 1 1/8" tall
