Unique Hand carved miniature chubby stone Hippopotamus from the Andes. Stone is mined in the Andes and brought down to the village by our craftsmen who have carved animals and such for generations. Peruvian Arts LLC is a business on the Oregon Coast specializing in carved stone animals. We work directly with the artisans and they have made this superb "Hippo" for us. She weighs in at about .75 ounce, stands 1 inch tall and is about 1.5 inches nose to tail. Smaller than our usual offering. Considered a "Miniature." Please see the detail in the photos. Shipping
We ship daily, usually thru USPS, and usually the same day as payment is received by PayPal. On heavier items we use UPS. We are not interested in making money on shipping so shipping cost is the cost of actual postage and or sometimes special packaging.
